turn the page disengage no holds barred was all the rage but space? a very lonely place... and we were interfaced the interlocks were stuck in chocks we lost control of the box so manually we operated turned the gears to dislocate it our capsule lurched and moaned with sounds that scraped our bones with sparks and some vibration we disembarked the station and fired the thrusters port three-sixtied just for sport and one half swing before the boosters slammed full bore we're finally headed home no more in space to rome and as we squinted at the trails of starstreams, beams and comet tails our hearts were flooded once again with life on earth, remembering when, and how the prospect of returning filled our hearts with joyful yearning to once again be in her arms and all her biospheric charms to live again within that zone the planet that we call our own
