once upon a time long ago I was blind didn't know what I was doing I was out for ballyhooing I was headed toward ruin I was [stop]
I was all about the money
I was all about the honey
I was all about the funny
I was going no where fast
but that was in the past
and I knew it wouldn't last
see when I was just a young jism
I went and got confirmed
it started with a catechism
and this is what we learned
now you become a man
you'll be a soldier of the word
and tho I liked the plan
another thought occurred
sow your wild oats while you're young
there's plenty of time so have some fun
wine women and song c'mon let's go
you're only young this once you know?
you can always come back once you're done
