out on the meridian
all conditions: GO then BAM
they're blown into oblivion
not by bomb nor expertise
in wars of mortal men
but by the endpoint of the lease
will come destruction's end
guess who's coming, guess who's gone?
well, here unfolds the story
when life unhindered on and on
regenerates in glory
and nature shakes her garments free
from binding thorn and thicket,
when manifested destiny
redeems her faithful ticket
the forests crack in unison
as nature's curse is broken
the lion and the lamb have fun
and frolick in the open
the earth will once again be new
and all her clients happy
when eviction time comes due
such partying there will be
for death will be defeated
and for all those who remain
it will never be repeated
(except for some who'll fall again)
for the regimen will surely stand
and gladly give applause
to the One who shows the mighty hand
with prophecies and laws
driven through the crotch of wrists
where nerve endings send quakes
beaten with the reeds and fists
and hammered to the stakes
for the ones who recognize
the peril of their sin
and finally come to realize
the evil is within
and there's no hope in works of man
no way to find your bearings
or counteract the deeds at hand
with random acts of sharing
only one thing purges and
undoes the damage done
the payment justice must demand
is only in God's Son.
