we were just hangin out

when it all came about so suddenly
a flash of light
an eerie sound
like crickets spinning round and round
then something stood us still
we couldn't move until
after they took our women
inside our thoughts were swimmin
they took the ones they wanted
with powers that they flaunted
they taught them all their skills
evil captive daughters
breaking human wills
then they had their babies
who grew up really huge
like animals with rabies
they roamed and sought refuge
killing and destroying
taking on their prey
the goods we were enjoying
they took them all away
their appetites consumed them
they loved the blood and gore
our kingdoms they assumed them
and shook us down for more
now legends speak of great men
like hercules and thor
but how we came to hate them
just rotten to the core
these super men of old
invading on our village
from outer space we're told
they came to rape and pillage
and rule us like their drones
and giants were created
to carry massive stones
they engineered and mated
and lawlessness increased
half animals and men
upon us were released
it got so wicked then
the judgment had to fall
and just like Noah preached
the deluge took them all
and now they can't be reached.
