how she hates you
and berates you
never once appreciates you
how she's lifeless and she doesn't give a damn
she is blind and she is dumb
and she cannot give you some
no she's not your bosom chum
she's just a sham
she's ficticious
and she's not the great IAM
created in your likeness
reflective of what might just
be designed in your own image spriritually
deaf, blind and dumb
as all were we
until Creator Father God
gave us all His holy nod
referred to Jesus who alone can make us new
at least within His all important view
any else is just a waste of time to do
He makes even at our oddest
and He doesn't use a goddess
it's Himself born as a son to do His will
and become the sacrifice He had to kill
He was cut and he was broken
He was crushed out in the open
He was shamed and He was whipped
His sweet head and skin were ripped
and the sacirifice was all on our behalf
so that we could be set free by this blood bath
but this Son who suffered bled
well He rose up from the dead
and He sits at God's right hand
to make it stick
it's not some passion plan or play or trick
This Christ is the Messiah - He's the One
He sat down to signify this work is done
So rest your pretty head
This Life became as dead
So you could live instead
It is His will
And though you don't always see
How so great a love could be
Just stop by and visit me
I'll tell you still.
