2008-11-13 - un-jacked tic-tac
if you could hit rewind on the chronicals of time
and let it high speed skip across the scenes
then let it stop in line with the very first design
the one before the yellows, blues and greens/
the prototype of what was meant to be
was verbalized not trash compact debris

wandering holes that can swim upstream
reversed upon themselves

And it isn't just defilants in the way

to rob us from what's really meant to be

We do not wrestle with flesh and blood
We're in mortal combat with the flood
the swarm of minions who conspire
to circumvent the holy fire
and overthrow the true empire
with charred remains and burnt desire
But He who once commanded the light
to SHINE out of the dark of night
who moved upon the troubled sea
and brought it forth by His decree
now moves upon the hearts of men
to bring them from the dust again
and this treasure remains inside
a city the darkness cannot hide
