I precluded with memento
and foreshadowed innuendo
but got stuck
the query wasn't sent no deal was struck
and besides, the subject matter really sucked
now I conclude I should've faked it for the bucks
so learn a lesson from this story
go burn out in blaze of glory
or turn out some sort of gory
lusty tale
about a good luck charm that had to fail
a widow and her deadbeat of a male
a horse that never hit the dusty trail
a never started never ending tale
as for me and in conclusion
I will write not for collusion
not for money
not for glory
not for rage
I'll just write until the reader turns the page
