opportunistic pedigrees
and brain-washed family histories
God please free us from all these
The unbelief, this faith disease,
The things with which we grapple
The Razor and apple
The ignorance and rebellion
The hypocrite and hellion
The justified defilement
Seduction and beguilement
Help us reconcile
Gleaning all the while
The precious from the vile
You do it all in style
Only You can see
Our blind propensity
To wander by degrees
Our wanton-alities
Susceptibilities
To this mortal disease
Take up all who will flow
