metaphorically speaking
your attitude is wreaking
your fine-tuning needs tweaking
you're missing what you're seeking
as light years pass you by
so much escapes the eye
unnoticed in the breach
between the rules you teach
and what's within your reach
let's read between the speech
there's script you don't recite
there's subtext you don't write
they vent right out and through
the things you say and do
predictably untrue
quite unbeknownst to you
unverified of course
just like a trojan horse
filled with minions of opinions
legions from the regions
life behind the vain dominions
waiting for their seasons
attacking for their reasons
agendas and their motors
pliable to voters
comply to justify
the revolution cry
underworld supporters
murderous cavorters
gypsies, tramps and thieves
no honor among fleas
they all bite in for self
to fund the commonwealth
a dog to scratch the itch
the poor who became rich
and now must find solution
to quell re-revolution
