2009-07-22 - evaporation transformation
the prize of all the earth
a pearl of great worth
the treasure of a city long foretold
by ancient manuscript
and hieroglyphs that slipped
between the cracks of artifacts of old
a civilization passed
a remnant found at last
a residue that's no less true restored
foreshadowing of light
yet hidden from our sight
until the second coming of our Lord
by faith we've seen and heard
confirmed as by His Word
though all shall pass away one thing remains
returning in the clouds
with trumpets blowing loud
we'll see Him as He is and we'll be changed
