like the easter bunny at stonehenge
cloning stem cell eggs as gifts
stoning them till begs to diff
all religious right and left
all prestigious hardboiled chefs
every genre, every klan,
every woman, every man,
all insulted by the act:
self-destructive rabbit tracks
leading angry mobs astray
as their torches burn away
raving till the break of day
saving eggs for come what may
"shaving legs for none," he'll say
"lucky rabbit's foot? ok.
use these eggs like a revolver
when they rot they'll smell like sulphur
used as stink bombs to offend
if your jokes don't sing, pretend,
but yours do, so you know why
