Throughout all ages You are praised, O Lord!
Throughout all ages You are not to be ignored.
For Your name is holy� holy is Your name,
Your name, it is holy, You remain the same.
Praise You Lord, praise You for Your name for is great!
Praise You Lord, praise You, one true potentate.
How excellent is Your name above the heavens and the earth.
You have set Your throne on high above all riches and all worth.
In the fields of Africa, to the parched lands of Sudan,
through the jungles, through the reeds, into the valleys of the land,
and in the plains down by the seas Your name is greatly to be praised.
In the windswept cypress trees to where the subtle breeze is raised
up from the continental shelf and in the foothills of Savannah,
Your name is highly to be praised and You care for us with manna.
for You are Holy and Your name is excellent
come and control me with a love that's heaven sent...
In the hinterlands to the north where the snow caps the mountains
to the great sea beyond into the oceans and the fountains
of the deep where they sleep until the power that restrains
is unleashed and the keep becomes the beauty that remains
when no more sea becomes the norm and the land is moist by mist
on that day when you return and creation's dawn is kissed
