2013-01-02 - Isaiah 51:11
will there be tears in heaven?
this my soul knows quite well:
outside of the 7-11
a sinner was saved from his hell
and each drop was kept in a vial
till laughter broke out that one night
when a twisted crackhead with no smile
walked away full of joy and upright
will there be tears in the in the cosmos?
only at first when we see
all that we've built for our egos
devoured by love's effigy
but after that sorrow's forgotten
with mourning it all flies away
the fruit on the ground that went rotten
will give birth to an orchard that day
so my counsel is buy up all gold
not the kind that is useless in death
but the kind that can never be sold
and remains after your last breath
buy the gold that is tried in the fire
the kind only Jesus can sell
from the least to your greatest desire
only that which remains escapes hell...
so drink deep from the life-giving well...
let the deadwood burn where it fell...
hear Him say "enter in - you've done well!"
