What kind of friend do you want to be?! Only one kind will I see: True beauty guards her heart within, without; All else is like a jewel in a pig's snout... Something's hooked to the other end I can't close my eyes, pretend The blessing's worth the baggage, let's be real! There's much more to these things than what we feel. The two entwined are one And when it's said and done The broken vessel cannot hold the oil; That booty will bring curses that will spoil Every dream that love can weave Can't you see the ill reprieve That will come upon your forehead in the night When the bridegroom calls for you to trim your light? Perhaps you bought the line that your body is just fine to be used as a trade-in for some fun as you wipe your mouth and say, "what's done is done." Perhaps you see it as the horse you ride and feast it on whatever flanks your hide which you shake to start the chase keeping up your headstrong pace running headlong in the race but there's something that takes place behind the scenes there's more that intermingles in the genes there is give and there is take there is more than love you make there's an interchange of something deep within, a giving and receiving beyond skin, even in the callousness of action void of any love or feigned attraction. a lifeless intercourse: even that combines the force of two entities engaging at the source and the two shall be as one (not like a horse) for they're both made in God's image (and this isn't just a scrimmage); it's the doorway to the earth for spirits waiting guarded by the ancient principles creating humans, born by natural reproduction, subject to the Manufacturer's instruction (not just mammals humping shoddy), we are spirit, soul and body and there's so much more to man than evolved apes so our friendship can't be based on great escapes, or flings, affairs and secret rendezvous, it must be governed by what wisdom views as something that will honor what is true... the only way I'd ever run with you.
