whereby all men must be saved that is given
and if you try to go your own way you get strife
Jesus said
I am the way the truth the life
no other door and what is more
He showed us what He came here for
no one can come to the Father but by Me
that's what He said so check your head and get set free
he that has the Son has what God alone can give
he that doesn't have Him misses out and will not live
he will only see the darkness and the death
when his body has exhaled his last breath
he will pass from life to loss
if he fails to see the cross
where the King of time and space
left his throne to take our place
and die the death that we were s'posed to die
God has to speak the truth and cannot lie
He loves you and He took your place to pay
the punishment that once stood in the way
and separated you from Him
but now it's gone so come on in
you've got to know what God now says to you
He's reaching out in love with this in view
extending invitation V.I.P.
this reconciliation come and see
God was in Christ making friends with us all
So please take my advice and get free from the fall
that took place when man sinned and broke off from the garden
receive this reprieve don't let your heart be hardened
there is one way to get there from here
hear these words that I say and draw near
you don't want to be left here alone
like a dog in the dirt with your bone
you growl and clamp down
on that bone in the ground
but if you just look up
drop that thing - come to sup
you would gladly forsake that old fare
for this steak grilled and juicy and rare
Jesus had to pay that debt
there was no other way
all other paths lead to regret
when on that final day
we stand before the judgement seat
we don't want to be incomplete
the payment has been met fool
so come on in and get cool
no you don't want to be burnt by the heat
for all without is gnashing of the teeth
and anguish of the soul
crying God please take control
but it will be too late for that
now can't you see
now's the time to come get fat and get set free
otherwise you'll be left in the cold
and don't put off this invite till you're old
you haven't got the promise of tomorrow
and you don't want to live eternal sorrow
let Christ come in your heart
and he'll blow your sin apart
you'll be filled with life anew
Yes he comes to live in you
and you'll be saved
He will teach you how God wants you to behave
he'll set you free
no longer be
a sin bound slave
he comes inside
enjoy the ride
don't be a knave
don't slip and slide in doubt and pride he comes to save.
