if it were ever to happen that the governing authorities (i.e. the police, the Feds, the game warden, Andy of Mayberry, etc.) were ever to breakdown and we had to rely on ourselves for protection...
even Barney would get a gun, or a bullet for his gun... whatever.
We would all have to rely on our kin, neighbors, whoever was nearby to hold our turf and protect our tribes against looters and the like.
Eventually other gangs would be involved in our survivability prospectus because of natural resources and the need for trade...
We would have to organize and institute leadership...
we would have to maintain law and order within our tribal turf boundaries...
this is what the world is anthrapologically: it's all about gangsta mentality.
now if you play it clean you can make nice with your bordering tribes and form a coalition...

validity is the issue
.
valid issues which you are passionate about should never be squelched but there's a time and a place for everything
.
you don't win points with the tribal leaders by barging into the war council meetings and pleading for a foreign gangster's rights after he has openly devoted himself to the destruction of your tribe... it's just not the best time to lobby for human rights. go figure...
