what does a leader do all day if he is worth dead space? make sure he is worth his pay teach him, just in case he forgot what motivates those who do the work, not more rules and harsh dictates but every little perk every thing that can be done to reward the faithful ones working in the office, in the field those who deal with clientele those who feel what books can't tell those behind the scenes, so well concealed those whose blood and sweat and tears flow into the corporate gears give the best of all their years those hands in which the reapers' scythe doth wield those who come day after day do their job, receive their pay seldom take the time to play whose labors birth the mighty corporate yield what in the hell is wrong with corporate America?!!? Have they travelled to the state of North Hysterica? Don't they see the cause? these policies and laws; they're nothing but a symptom of their sloth why can't you build a team that centers on the dream of each and every patchwork in the cloth of each and every person in the mix why don't you fire the losers those pushers and abusers injecting their own egos like a fix destroying creativity killing off festivity criticizing every chance they get you'd think their job description was in debt save your company from losses make sure all the little bosses make the rounds and interview the staff teach them how to joke and make them laugh and while they do just that take a pen and writing pad take the time to stop and chat ask them what they'd like to add learn the diagnostics of the their questions clear your mind and listen to suggestions check your ego at the door learn what management is for listen for the ways to cut expense implement the ones that make most sense do the things the competition does and take it one step further just because employees are the ones who pay your bills without them you'd be working in the hills
