the person's brainstem funnel
pretty soon we will be climbing
up the chase in perfect timing
noticing the neuron flow
that sends the signals to and fro
now this room (please excuse my voice)
echoes every little noise
because it's here where dreams occur
the medulla of media, as it were,
reflection's production studio pad

right there, transduction's taking place
the nebulous blur of time and space
evolving, changing, taking shape
now quick, let's take the fire escape
into the backroads of her mind
and there outside the tissue find
morphing in conglomerates
rooms of sensory data bits
where gentle chords and tethers fair
attach to her affections there
influences pulling on the sail
tack to winds which still prevail
forgive my waxing eloquent
but this is where the story went
on budget burners in the back
of her mental heart attack
where she gave in to the lie
relinquishing her wonder why
the walk-through model almost closed
for lack of interest from all those
who should have loved her as a friend
and paid her dues and dividends
appreciate her while she's here
don't let her live in pain and fear
it might seem simple, plain and trite
but we could make her future bright
