2008-08-08 - the brevity of life
what will really matter when your life comes in review as you look over the memories and things that you went through your successes and your failures and the people that you knew all the motives for the things that you did or didn't do? someone said almost all the people they had spoken to who were facing their last moments in their final interview had just one main regret or relief admitted to and it wasn't for more money, greater status, more taboo no, it wasn't for more fun, greater power, more to do it was usually more expressed in terms of love toward those they knew. did they spend their time investing love into the ones who had come across their paths, or their family, daughters, sons, or neighbors and aquaintances and people they had known was it love by their deeds and their time that they had shown? these are things that need to be considered while we live so we don't have regrets when the time has passed to give. these are things I pray for my time to be spent on as the sands slip through the hour glass of time before they're gone.
